Its been <em>lots</em> of fun, despite the fact that I cringe a little with each*kachink-kachink* of my scissors, as though each snip represents my trip escaping from me.  Happily, that feeling flees once I begin sewing and I find I can barely tear myself away from my whirring machines. The wildy printed, colorful, bold, soft, and flowing fabrics are amazing to work with and Ive been hanging on to every little salvagable scrap.  So far Ive designed new skirts, blouses, and tanks—-simple structures in order to highlight the fabric prints. Also designed a fun pair of super high waisted and super short shorts (pictured here) that tie at back and front. I kinda <em>love</em> them.
